This week was another warm week, and with spring starting on Friday, we had to enjoy some time outside. With Kokubunji Station just being about a six minute walk from school, we have an area, near the park, where we can sit, or stand, and watch the trains pass by. We jump up and down, trying to get the conductors to honk their horns, and we had about three or four trains do so! It is exciting when we get to see the trains travel by us so fast! 😍🚃💨🛤️
To strengthen our hand and motor skills, we put together puzzles! We have all kinds, for both our P1’s and P2’s, such as, paper board, wooden, and padded puzzles. We have them in several designs, too, ranging from alphabet, animal, and Anpanman, to Disney, ocean creatures, and Thomas the Train! We love putting together and playing with puzzles! 🧩🐳🚂
Lastly, we celebrated one of our classmate’s birthdays this month, which means, it’s time for a birthday party! We went downstairs to our basement, and one of our teachers set up the Thomas the Train themed tracks and rideable train. The birthday student gets to ride twice around, and then everyone else gets one time around the colorful red, green, and blue tracks. We smile and giggle when we press the buttons and hear the train horn, Thomas theme music, and steam sounds, but most of all, we are happy to celebrate a classmate’s birthday! 🥳🎊🚂🛤️
