A New Month and A Lot of Food from Kokubunji Preschool

November is here and Autumn is in full bloom! This new month brings colder temperatures, and learning about new holidays. 🦃🍽️🍁

The main holiday celebrated in America is Thanksgiving, and so during learning time, we are talking about Food, as food is a big part of the holiday season. We ask the kids the question, “Do you like?” And then show the kids a food card like chicken, cheese, bread, cake, etc., and the kids respond with, “Yes I do,” or “No I don’t.” 😋🙁

Wednesday is Music class, and we welcomed back our Music teacher. She had been traveling last month, and we missed her dearly. We sang songs, played with tambourines, and listened to musical stories. 🎹🎶📚

With the chilly weather, we either stay inside, and work on our songs for the Christmas program, or make a craft. 🎵🎄🎨🖍️
