Kokubunji International Preschool ” Happy Halloween and the Start of a New Month”

Last Monday and Tuesday, we continued the Costume Week celebration with dressing up in costumes. Then, Tuesday, we met at Musashi-Kokubunji park, playing games, trick-or-treating with the kids, and then a Halloween fashion show! We presented awards for Original Costume, Creative Costume, Prettiest Costume, Scariest Costume, and Funniest Costume, including a Honorable Mention and Family Costume awards.

Wednesday rang in a new month, November! During our learning time, we talked about food such as curry and rice, cereal, cake, butter, and bread. Food is an essential part of the American holiday, Thanksgiving. More to come on this American holiday in the weeks ahead.

We had so much fun this week, celebrating Halloween, but November is now upon us. What will we do next week? Tune in to find out! 😉
