Kokubunji International Preschool: Fun at the Park, Graduation and St. Patrick’s Day Craft, Learning about Fruit

This week, we had another beautiful spring day, which meant we got to go to the park. Once we arrive, we have the below rules to follow before being able to play:

Rule #1: No Fighting
Rule #2: No Throwing
Rule #3: Play Nicely (this is when other friends are at the park, too).
Rule #4: Take Turns
Rule #5: Have Fun

After hearing the rules, then we either run to the playground, or the rocking doggie, and play as much as we can until it is time to go back to school. We love going to the park! ☺️

With graduation fast approaching, we started working on our graduation craft, which we did hand and foot prints with either green, orange, pink, or blue paint. Our teachers will cut the prints out and place them on 2024 calendars. Later, we’ll get bags to put our craft in, decorating them with beautiful colors. We can’t wait to see the finished project!

Lastly, during Beat Time, we learned about fruit. Our cards range from peaches, cherries, grapes, to apples, lemons, and bananas. We asked the question, “What is this?” And then our teacher shows us a card with a different fruit pictured on it. We shout out the fruit, and whomever is the fastest, wins the card. Learning about fruit is so fun, but it also makes us hungry, which is perfect because we have lunch right after Beat Time. We look forward to next week’s lesson, but what will it be?
