Graduation Practice, Beat Time, and Enjoying an Outdoor Walk from Kokubunji Preschool

We are already in the second week of February, which means, it’s time to practice for graduation. We go downstairs to the basement level of our building, doing a walkthrough of the whole program with the kindergartners. It’s hard to believe another group of P2’s are graduating! 🎓👩‍🎓👨‍🎓🌟

While the P2’s practice for graduation, the P1’s play, have snack time, and do Beat time. We did Beat time, going through the alphabet, saying the letter and its sound from the picture, and then playing the “Touch Touch” game. Our teacher places letters on the table, then he or she calls out a letter, and we touch it. The first one to touch the correct letter, wins! We love playing this game and learning about which letter is which. 👏🅰️🎉

Earlier this week, a snowstorm came through, and we had to stay home for one day. As the snow began to melt, we got to enjoy an outdoor walk through the neighborhood. We saw animal figurines in one neighbor’s front yard, numerous bicycles, many cars, and even a man, who stopped and said hello to us. We said hello back, and he asked, “How are you?” We kindly replied, “I’m fine, thank you.” And then we said goodbye. We were so happy to go outside for a walk on such a nice day. ☀️🚶🏻‍♀️🚶
